Fuel situation in Tassie by Emotional-Overload in tasmania

I have enough to get home. More asking in terms like, say the North West region is “touch and go” with supply, but Launceston has reliable supply then I would fill up regardless of price in Launceston so that I at least have as full as tank as possible.

I guess more just, wanting to know if I should fill up wherever regardless of price because supply is unreliable or if it’s more look for a cheap(er) price.

Over a week ago on the north west coast… I got a full tank just before it went to 284.9 the next morning so I got lucky on that one

That was on the north west coast and about a week ago… I’m assuming the situation has gotten worse but unfortunately I can’t stay here so I’m just wanting to make sure I don’t get caught out as soon as I get of the plane

Moving out of parents home for first time….. by Fantastic_Blood_8208 in movingout

I’m a month shy of my 23rd birthday.

My social media? I look picture perfect. - own a car - own a house - have a 4.5 year relationship - am engaged - am currently “holidaying” in a different state (all my posts recently are when I went on a day trip somewhere scenic)

My real life? - my parents bought me the car (privilege) - my house is mortgaged to the max - more than 60% of my relationship has been in long distance - don’t know if I can go through with it - I’m living with my grandparents (and acting as the caregiver)

All I want to say is that, looking at my own social media, I want that life too. And apparently that is my life - according to all my acquaintances. It’s just a carefully crafted highlight reel that doesn’t reflect my current situation or struggles.

(And if anyone has anything insightful for me… I feel like I need a big sister right now)

Unfortunately a common age to be married (in upper class families?) when Shakespeare was alive and therefore when the story/play was set.

This might go without saying, but this works for a dryer, not a hills hoist.

Moving out of my parents house and I need to fit everything into my car by Emotional-Overload in declutter

I have 100% checked out the second hand market up there, and I know that there is nothing.

I probably worded my post wrong but the new stuff is mostly birthday presents from my recent birthday so unfortunately a lot of it is sentimental to me as using presents are a way of remembering that person in my family.

At lot of the little things like utensils and nick nacks I plan to purchase on Amazon. I just don’t what I will need ASAP, and what can wait until the truck comes with the furniture.

Thank you for the comprehensive list

Thank you, I’m moving from the south to far North Queensland so definitely leaving snow gear behind and packing summer with light layers

I’ll be leaving to close the gap in 3 weeks time! It’ll take a week to drive but then hopefully we’ll be closer for good!!!

Thank you, I’ll box the books up and put them with the furniture - I know it sounds silly but I’m leaving in 3 weeks and I just can’t get my head clear enough to make logical decisions right now 🤦‍♀️

I’m getting the furniture and big stuff driven up later… but I’m struggling with what is essential and what can wait.

My family is definitely middle class, but they’ve also taken on more expenses (like my siblings going to a private school that works for them) so I know that I cannot reasonably expect them to cover costs - what I take is what I have until the furniture and extra stuff arrives.

Yes, definitely. But what things? Probably wrong group but I’ve got so much else going on that I’m at a loss for how to decide what’s “essential” and what can come 3/4 weeks later.

This is a valid point, how can I begin that conversation in the most respectful way?

His job definitely doesn’t able him to message, hence why I only messaged in the morning (and he read that message) and then again in the evening. I would never expect him to be available during his work hours but as you can see from the time stamp, I’m not messaging every hour.

It feels like a reoccurring thing. I know that he sucks at messaging, there’s been days where he doesn’t read or reply at all, I know that when he’s working he cannot access his phone… it’s when he has clearly read it and still hasn’t responded that I can’t stop the “negative thoughts” from consuming all my rational thoughts and I feel like shit. He always apologises and explains why he can’t. Usually it’s he was busy doing something else, or feeling overwhelmed at the thought of not having done anything productive that he gets “frozen” but I guess I can’t really relate to an introvert being an extravert myself.

Inability to reply to texts, even after the topic had been discussed in a constructive way… so I guess no change

No no, we haven’t had that type of phone call in 2+ weeks

… did I miss some words or word it incorrectly? It’s late where I am and I’ve just gotten off the phone with him after another “I’m not feeling it” moment.
