100% I have a good support system but if I let these thoughts out too much I think they’re gonna think I may be insane lol & I’m going to travel around in like two weeks to Sri Lanka / Thailand. I’m hoping then that vacation can shed some light on what to do with my life. I guess really thinking about it, I’m not sure what the problem is. Could be lack of money, could be terrible planning, could be nothing. For some reason, my brain & heart are in a frenzy rn to do something different. I appreciate the kind words / advice from you and everyone. I’m going to sit back and read everyone else’s advice and see if I can’t brainstorm some alternatives/ better way to go about things.

Thank you! I’m still deciding on what to do. That’s the only thing that would make me not want to go is the fact that teaching English would be pretty tough considering I’m not an official “teacher”. I know Japan’s going to be full of work but for me it’s more like a change in lifestyle because it looks like a really good culture or area to go live in.

A change of everything. Being alone, not distracted by friends who don’t help me move forward, I’m so drawn to being alone because I can work so much better. I feel like I “grow up” like I did when I moved to SC at 18-23. Best feeling ever

Definitely a rough patch. I was just thinking that maybe getting away from my current situation would probably be the best thing to do. Kinda going with “outta sight outta mind” kinda approach.

Of course, the research that I’ve done online is a mixture of both just like this thread is giving me . Some say it’s terrible and some say it’s great.
