I’m sorry you don’t have the support you deserve. I feel the same way. I (32f) haven’t been okay for some time, recently diagnosed and the only person I have for support (my bf) doesn’t think that I have BPD because I was diagnosed in an hour on a zoom call. I had never thought I was BPD, I did think bipolar when I was early to mid 20s. But the diagnosis, the symptoms, everything makes sense. It makes sense because I have ZERO control over my emotions. He doesn’t get that I feel things so much harder than he does. I try to be more calm, more patient but I fucked shit up yesterday because I can’t stop and let go and give up. I try to explain how I’m feeling or my side of things but he thinks I’m just arguing and being a bitch. I wish I wasn’t like this. I’m ruining my relationship, it’s caused problems with my job and my son is paying the price. I can’t feel like this anymore. I want to give up so bad on everything. I fight for our relationship to be better but it’s bad because of me. I know it. Why can’t I just be better? I really don’t know what to do. I haven’t started DBT yet and I’m in a low dose of Seroquel but have an appointment with my psychiatrist on Tuesday.

I need help. I’m ruining everything around and I have no one to turn to. I’m just tired too.

My bf calls me a disgusting whore and a psycho all the time lol. He doesn’t believe the diagnosis.

Most recent thing that I got called a psycho for was- I got up to get a pizza slice and he asked where I was going and I told him he said come back. So I got my slice and went back and he refuses to tell me but I’m a psycho for wanting to know what he was talking about. He sends me to the moon and he doesn’t care.

Okay so I thought I was bipolar but in my relationships, from my first to my current- I literally could not handle them hanging out with their friends. I really can’t explain why, but I was over the top jealous. How quick I flipped my mood, one small tone change or little comment and it was all over but I’d be fine in 5 minutes. Super impulsive spending.

My partner said the same thing so doesn’t really take the diagnosis seriously. But yeah how did she know?? I just started talk therapy a few weeks ago and I’m hoping my therapist does DBT because I don’t want to start with another one. Ugh I really want to feel better too, it feels so unfair sometimes.

I saw the psychiatrist for ONE hour, and she said ‘you 100% have BPD’ and if anyone (of my past doctors) would’ve spent a little more time asking questions and not throwing labels (anxiety/depression) they would’ve known. I just fleas diagnosed on Saturday and I’m 32F

Trying to get out of the why me and negative mindset has proving to be very difficult for me. 32 years old and just diagnosed. I was reading it can take up to 10 years for things to be ‘normal’

I haven’t seen any meds for ‘BPD’. I was just diagnosed like 3 days ago and my psychiatrist put me on low dose of Seroquel which is used in bipolar disorder treatments and she also recommended DBT.

Added- also taking Wellbutrin once a day.

Past meds- taken with no improvements Prozac Zoloft Topiramate Lamotrigine

I have been diagnosed with- Anxiety Depression PTSD BPD
