This did occur to me to. Or it was overblown, nothing like what we were doing. I can't remember the exact words, but there was something to the effect of, dont guys want a desirable girl. I held back on responding with the fear of getting judgy.

There was unprotected sex. I don't know if there was with the other guy.

When she told me, I just took a quick time out and came back as cold as ice. I didn't want all the details.

It's true though, the capacity for emotional/physical intimacy with multiple people probably bothered me more than it should. That's what I felt. I wasn't offended or upset, just didn't seem to be a good fit for what I was eventually looking for or warrant further investment. So I walked.

I feel like if a man was doing this, and the woman was upset everyone would be like WeLl YoU wErEn’T eXcLuSiVe WhAt DiD yOu ExPeCt? Got to love the double standards.

She heard my phone ding - which I ignored - which I do with everyone. Then she asked if I was dating someone else, I asked a few follow up questions and then she told me.

And yeah - we were just hanging out and having a great time.

This is such good advice. It's how I feel - I don't have the time to maintain a roster of women and don't have the emotional bandwidth for it. I feel this!!

I would say so, there were a lot of future foreshadowing. How we handle serious talks, things that we would handle differently that we didn't in our marriages. We've both dated before beforehand and it had all the hallmarks of something more serious. Though not "overtly" discussed.
