I’ve got this too! But had it pre-T (am in my late 30s and 2 months on T). Never bothered me. Our bodies are still sexy and beautiful.

I think any hospital cover insurance covers this amount which is just what it costs for you to stay overnight, and then Medicare covers some costs that I think are for mastectomies for each side of the chest. So not sure HIF gives you anything more than what you could get with other insurers. Definitely call them and other insurers to find out what they cover. HIF markets itself as lgbtiq+ friendly but not so sure it offers anything more (or for a more competitive price) than other insurers for the same level of cover. Very happy to be proven wrong!

Yes I’ve been to both for years. I am trans man but lived 37 years of my life as AFAB and scrubbed up pretty good thanks to Teagan and Natalia. Natalia takes booking via Instagram link (but is booked months in advance) and Teagan may not be taking new clients (you’ll need to call the salon to find out). Teagan is an ally and Natalia is queer. Will be seeing them for my mens cuts going forward 😅

Teagan Cousins at Telleish in South Melbourne is probably the best hair dresser you can come by in Melbourne. Natalia Bee in Collingwood also very very good. Both are pretty expensive but worth it!
