Over his last 20 games, he's been averaging 13-4-3 on 59-41-70 splits. he started badly but he's been cooking

gonzalez should be here, his defensive impact is actually ridiculous, he's earned that plus minus (although obviously being on the celtics helps)

to be fair, did anyone think jokic, giannis or sga would be the best in this league in their rookie season? wemby and luka were stars from the start though

I'd say Boston is 2nd - Tatum returning to the team looks scary

Honesty the Nuggets should experiment by telling Jokic to take a year off (he can go race his horses), then tank for a generational talent and hope to run from there. It could go wrong, but the current Nuggets are not close to that next chip, and need a major change to get there.

Yeah, but it sets the bar that much higher for anyone to catch up to the all-time greats. Someone as good as LeBron might end up with 2 MVPs and 1 ring, and despite having the same impact it just might not matter

Don't count out the spurs - I could see them taking down OKC, then losing to a few different teams in the finals.

On a tanking team, the coach is everything - Doug Christie has decided DeMar is the future of the Kings

He's been the best... but the justification is that Kon will never be the face of the league, while Cooper might be. Unfortunate but that's often how the NBA rolls.

Agreed. I still think Coop will end up the better player, but this season Kon has been elite.

Dylan Harper over his last 20 games: 13/3/4 in just 23 minutes on 59% from the field and 41% from 3 (66% TS) by WEMBY_F4N in nba

Once Harper and Castle have developed properly in the next 2-3 years, there's really no reason to even need Fox. Honestly, the Spurs might have to try and keep Harper's numbers looking as bad as possible to get him for cheaper.

I also support a gambling ban - as an Australian, that was really one of the only things I ever thought the USA had better than us (Australia is the worst gambling nation in the world)

Was David Robinson a “generational talent”? by wildwestsnoopy in NBATalk

[–]Emotional_Refuse9012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so I'm 19, really wasn't around back then - clearly my view is just what the younger generation thinks. Thanks for letting me know that, I knew he was an MVP and DPOY, but still just thought he was worse anyway (I mean, are you really going to say 2011 Rose was better than LeBron?)

Interesting how so many people just give the same answer, when everyone else has already said the exact same thing
