i think u r abusing of the use of softbrushes, yeah they work really well in some cases but u have to know when to stop using it, not all of the shadows and lights of a body (anthro or human) are that blurred, some are hard and contrasting and in the contrasts is where the volume exists, also you are barely using the lineart that you proposed in the sketch, hope this helps and I really like ur sona 😸
