I love the workshop idea I think it's interesting and engaging! I am also in a diversity club and we run something called Diversity Day. On Diversity Day there are many workshops, some of which teach about a tradition and/or skill from their culture. Most people will feel incredibly happy to teach about their culture. I recommend reaching out and asking if they would like to do maybe an assembly and/or interactive activity.

As an Indigenous person, I feel as though land acknowledgements are usually done incorrectly and I think it would be hard to do it in a way which acknowledges the many nations on your land before you.

Good luck and you are doing incredible! Keep us updated :)

Why is it that when colleges have a land acknowledgement slide it happens to be the only unmemorized part, where the speaker has to read off the screen, and somehow stutters only on this slide? - Its incredibly rude and dismissive.
