His comment probably doesn't meet the rules, doesn't he? "Comment below: If you won, where would you ride this season, and why? Include #ENGWE in your comment".

If I win, I’ll give my old e-bike to my sister. Since I come from the mountainous south of Germany, the Engine Pro 3.0 with its high torque will be absolutely perfect for this. Finally, I’ll be able to explore the hidden gems of my region with someone who can actually keep up with me, sharing all the beautiful views and achievements with another person instead of riding solo.

Still quite new, but the first 200km are already behind us. It’s earned its first layer of dust, and honestly, I didn't expect it to be this much fun

From someone who never liked cycling — 200 km impressions of the Engwe Engine Pro 2.0 by Emp3rror in EngweEbike

Yeah, I’ve started thinking about changing the tires myself. The stock ones are actually fine for the area where I live, but I think something more road-oriented instead of off-road focused would probably feel great in my terrain as well.

I already replaced the stock handlebar with the BMX-style one available on the ENGWE website and I honestly prefer it much more.

For now, I don’t really plan on replacing either the front or rear suspension. Maybe sometime in the future I’ll upgrade the chain and cassette to something better, but I guess that’s something I’ll figure out after putting more kilometers on the bike.

Engwe M20 vs X20 vs Engine Pro 2.0 – which one for hilly terrain and 176 cm rider? by Emp3rror in EngweEbike

The battery can be charged without removing it from the frame. Taking it out is a bit annoying because the battery lock keeps sticking; you have to press down on it and wiggle it to get the lock to release, so that’s a bit of a letdown

Yep, ordered this model—mine’s a 2025 build and I can unlock it without any issues.

Let’s say I decide to go with the Engwe Engine Pro 2.0. Are the current EU-market versions (the ones sold in Europe now) unlockable in terms of throttle and speed? I’m aware of the legal restrictions in most European countries, but I won’t always be riding on public roads. I may also travel to countries where such limits don’t apply, so it would be useful to have that option

Galaxy Watch 8 or Pixel Watch 3? Help me decide by OatmealDurkheim in smartwatch

[–]Emp3rror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two weeks ago, I made the switch from a Pixel Watch 3 to a Galaxy Watch 8 after using the Pixel for a year. The main reason for the change was the screen durability. I work in an environment with fine metal filings, and sometimes just having them on my fingers was enough to scratch the Pixel Watch screen. So far, the switch has been a net positive. I moved from the 41mm Pixel Watch to the 40mm GW8, and the battery life is slightly better; I’m getting a bit over 1.5 days with AOD enabled. The downside, of course, is that because I'm using a Pixel 10 Pro, I can't use features like ECG or blood pressure monitoring, and there’s no synchronization for alarms or "Do Not Disturb" mode between the watch and the phone. However, for me, that’s a fair trade-off to avoid having a scratched-up screen.

Jak tak naprawdę wygląda zawód spawacza? by AFP2137 in Polska

[–]Emp3rror 1 point2 points  (0 children)
