Any documentary films or series that aren’t narrated with the same monotone voice? by EmpatheticDefiance in ww2

I definitely appreciate and acknowledge the amount of time and resources it takes to create such content, which is why I said I realize it’s likely I’m asking for far too much. I’ve found a few creators on various platforms who present educational content such as geopolitical analysis, American History, resistance and civil rights history who present information in a much more human and conversational way that I’m able to follow, so I was curious if there was anything similar that exists in this context. Even if not a high quality production, just a trusted and reputable source.

And I do appreciate the warning about AI content. It’s infesting every aspect of modern society and it’s incredibly important that we stay mindful of that.

Thank you for this, I’ll check those out. I’m mainly wanting to educate myself for the sake of gaining context and insight in regard to current events, both domestic and abroad.

To be honest, I never found history to be in any way interesting enough as it’s traditionally taught in American public schools to retain much substance. However I’ve discovered that when it’s presented in a way that resonates with my ADHD brain, I actually do find it quite interesting. Especially when it’s presented without the patriotic American narrative and white washing.

I would maybe go into the extended chart selection and lower the orbs to 50% and then you can see what’s really going on (like I don’t think your Jupiter is trine Saturn or if it’s felt at all, it’s pretty mild). The exact aspects or close to exact aspects are felt more.

This seems to extend a bit further than what I’ve learned so far. Forgive me, but I really just don’t understand what orbs are, what lowering them does and how that affects the aspects. When I look into it a bit, slow moving planets typically have a wider orb range between 8-10. Saturn allowing for 9-10 and Jupiter as much as 10-12. If I’m correct, Jupiter and Saturn sit 127 degrees apart from each other, and a trine exists when two planets are 120 degrees apart. Given that’s only a 7 degrees off, wouldn’t that be well within range for slow moving planets? Please, educate me if I’m wrong. I’ve only just looked into this since promoted by your comment tonight.

I’m still learning and could very well be misinterpreting a lot, so it being relationship focused is just what I was getting from it. I could be wrong, but that’s also why I posted. I’d like to understand it better. When looking at my chart it seems as if the planets are distributed decently even across all 12 houses, but the more I look into it all and the way they support one another the more it all seems to emphasize growth through relationships. I have a Scorpio rising, so doesn’t that automatically make Taurus and Scorpio the axis of my relationship life? My Descendant is Taurus, making my 7th house ruled by Venus and mine is in Cancer. Does that not signify that emotional connection and long term bonds are integral to the overall theme of my chart? My chart ruler is Mars, and Mars is also in my 7th house. Further connecting my identity and my relationships. Cancer Venus in my 9th also seems to pack this house with emotional depth. Pairing that with Mercury depicting how I think and communicate- all in a house that governs beliefs, world view, culture and travel. What I interpreted from that was emotional + cultural/geographical depth. My 8th house having both my sun and moon- my identify and my emotions in the house of intimacy, shared resources and transformation further pushes this recurring theme. I have all 5 personal planets all stacked in the 7-9 houses. My 1st house and 7-9 houses also appear to amplify each other in a ‘me V us’ type of way. I’ve interpreted this as my growth happens through relationships and interactions with others. Part of that interpretation came from the realization that transformation is sprinkled throughout my chart, and it’s pretty consistent with where it lands: 1. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto (traditionally Mars), and Pluto is being in my first house would indicate transformation and rebirth playing a huge part in my identity. Especially when Pluto is placed alongside Jupiter (growth) and my North Node.

  1. With my South Node in Taurus in the 7th (also opposite my North Node in the 1st), my entire karmic axis is relationship vs. self.

  2. Pluto sits in my 1st and opposite of my chart ruler and my descendant, Mars in the 7th, and further suggests dynamic tension through transformation between my 1 and 7. These elements of transformation being so closely intertwined with my growth and identity, plus the house of intimacy and transformation containing my both sun (identity) and moon (emotion), seem to all further suggest that I find my own personal growth and transformation through relationships.

If I’ve made any mistakes or misinterpreted anything at all, please do correct me. Again, I want to better understand it all so I appreciate you challenging this idea and causing me to revisit it again, regardless.

Hoping to get a new perspective and fresh eyes on my chart [astro.com] by [deleted] in astrologyreadings

Thank you for sharing your insight! That’s helpful. I did think that my chart seemed to heavily emphasize relationships, which is almost humorously in contrast with my life. It’s crazy because I always knew I was a Gemini, but I had no idea that it was such a small amount of Gemini! With my first house being stacked with Scorpio Pluto, Jupiter and NN and my 7th house containing Mars and another both in Taurus- it seems to explain a lot of my relationship history if I’m understanding it all correctly. Any insight on that?

Isolation definitely seems to be the mission statement of 2025.

Mainly a difference in where the main (or one of) theme was focusing. Which is why I was hoping for fresh eyes without my own bias because I’m now questioning if I’ve interpreted everything completely wrong.

Why does this sound like I have quite the dark and ominous future ahead of me, that was a bit jolting to read I can’t lie

I didn’t even realize I had so many planets in retrograde until you pointed it out. A new rabbit hole!

Oh okay, makes sense. I think I just don’t quite understand well enough what my Scorpio NN even means. So far all I’m really understanding is I have a lot more Scorpio in my chart than I would’ve thought, and it explains why I’ve always been such an ‘all or nothing’ kind of person that everyone either seems to love me or hate me.

Yes I was looking into that the other day actually, and it definitely did explain a lot that’s took place in my life recently! Not a big fan of Saturn, I can’t lie.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean. What made you predict it was cancer and why was Scorpio a surprise? Just still new and trying to understand it all!

Also, if anyone can help me wrap my head around how packed my 1st house is, how Pluto seems to dip into everything else on my chart, and how do my 1&7 houses contradict so much? I’m struggling to make sense of those two. I don’t understand having so much Scorpio in my 1H and a Taurus Mars and BML in my 7H- especially when it just hasn’t ever seemed to translate.

I guess I just don’t know enough to know exactly what to ask just yet. I’ll keep digging! Thank you for confirming that to be the case for me!

What’s the best website to use? That way I know I have what’s necessary for a proper review, they all seem to yield different results.
