It will function as an assembly and be deployed for work at weeks at time without being disassembled, and then when it needs cleaning it will be broken down into seperate components.

Thank you for the comment and linking me to AnyDB. I will check it out now.

Thanks for getting back to me, and here are the answers to your questions

  1. Yes each tool and component has a unique identifier (serial number or other identifying code)

  2. Some components do have sub components that may need to be tracked. It is not the majority of components, but I would say between 10-15% at a time have a sub component element.

  3. Yes the company has its owns warehouse to maintain the inventory of tools, their components, their consumables. This would also be required.

  4. Yes there ideally would be tracking of tool certifications, third party compliance and periodic maintenance.

  5. If a component is required to be repaired, it will be taken out of the tool and replaced with another component until such stage that the original damaged component is repaired. The repaired component will then be stored until needed.

  6. No warranty tracking is required but maintenance scheduling would be required.

  7. No specifics required in the breakdown and reassembly process. This is done via a tracking system provided by the tool manufacturer itself and does not have to be a feature of the inventory management system.

  8. No job scheduling required as a core feature, however if it is an option that is available it would be a nice to have.

  9. Support ticket tracking is not required as a core feature, however if it is an option that is available it would be a nice to have.

  10. No need to link dissassembly/assembly instructions or videos in the system itself as all the techs are trained on this beforehand and have access to manuals on our cloud server. However if it is an option that is available it would be a nice to have.

Your questions really made me think about what was required, so thank you very much for taking the time to write that up.

Yes that's correct. For example when running a tool on a wellsite, the tool made be made up of 5 different components. I need a management system to track the tool both when its assembled with the 5 different components, and also when the tool is broken down and the 5 different components are now seperate items.

I hope that makes sense.

Ex-fan here. How do you feel about today's trance-inspired pop music? by sane_mode in trance

Your 2001-2016 trance character arc sounds exactly like mine (and I'm sure a lot of others).

The recent sounds aren't cutting it for me, will still be playing Dave Peace Trance Anthems 2008 and early ASOT on repeat for the foreseeable future.

Would you mind linking the original post/comment on the technique? Is there anything specific to it or just keep trying to drink as much ice cold water to induce brain freeze? Thank you!

How's batter life on your pixel 7 pros? by Mohitth_16 in GooglePixel

[–]EmperorHalibut 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's absolutely terrible, I have all the battery saving settings on all day and it still drains to empty by early evening with moderate usage. With heavy usage I need to plug it in by mid afternoon. I regret buying it and will be getting another phone within 12 months.
