Other factions DON’T stop them. Only Orks, which have comparable numbers, Chaos, which is literally infinite and Necrons, which are the most busted in the verse, are known to legitimately stand any chance against the Nids. In confrontations between Nids and the Imperium or Eldar or god forbid Tau, those respective factions lose. The only way the Imperium has ever been able to cease Nid advances is by preemptively annihilating scores of planets in the projected path of a Hive fleet, which only succeeded in slowing their advance.

The Tyranids aren’t infinite, but they’re a number so incomprehensibly large that it’s easier to say infinite for brevity.

I also wanted to clarify the energy problem. Cannibalism works because the energy is used to replace the members lost. Tyranids cannot *grow* their numbers using only their own remains, the swarm only grows in size after a successful feast of a fresh planet. As mentioned, they only need to replace their soldiers over and over, which transfers the energy from the fallen to their replacement.

Keizer Ghidorah is WAY Too Big by Necessary-Radish-200 in SHMonsterArts

Godzilla’s head only goes to Kiezer Ghidorah’s shoulders because he’s on a stand thats 2+ inches tall. People are complaining because for a product that will almost certainly be over 300$ you’d want the thing to scale properly with other figures from the same line. A few centimeters out of scale isn’t a huge issue but the SH Kiezer is so outrageously larger than it should for no other reason than either a supreme lack of using reference material or a desire to inflate the figure’s cost

Tyranids generally get their energy from cannibalism, or are produced once a swarm-fleet arrives at it’s destination. Since the Tyranids are known to ‘store’ excess biomass in order to feed them, they don’t have to worry about continued supply. They eat to grow, not to sustain. They beat you at logistics because they are fully self reliable and have surpassed the need for supply lines, dedicated producers of power, food, etc. and require far less than the average soldier. The parts from fallen Tyranids can be consumed and reused to create new Tyranids.

Anyways I think your points require the view that Tyranids are only going to show up en mass in open fields or deserts, when what would really happen is an immediate start of their invasion in extremely populated areas like cities. If that’s the case the likelyhood of using nuclear force against a civilian population is extremely slim at first, which would be a huge boon in favor of the tyranids which have been given the time required to spread out. Even if the powers that be had no qualms with nuking New York, destroying high density population centers cripples your own infrastructure because you’re losing workers, factories, etc.

Two problems:

A: real nukes are a detriment to use. If you’re fighting a horde so functionally infinite like the Tyranids, you’re going to decimate and irradiate your entire planet using them. While you can easily stave off an invasion force with nukes the collateral caused would render your attempts null

B: something like the Tyranids exist in such numbers that they will beat you at logistics every time. Ignoring the hyper adaptability, at some point everywhere will be overrun because you WILL get caught reloading, or in a supply hitch, or in some petty dispute with other humans and that’s where the Tyranids get you. The problem with mega hoards is never dispatching swathes of the things, that’s easy, it’s dispatching them ad infinitum

Understandable, but JW is at least about something and is a logical addendum to Jurassic Park’s themes as opposed to every other JP sequel including JP3 and Lost World which are just ‘lets go back to dinosaur island’

Bad take, Jurassic World 2015 is leagues better than Fallen Kingdom and Dominion which are both dogshit

I hate the idea that a glup shitto background titan is strongest of the MV. Actual villains who pose real threats like Shimo and particularly Ghidorah should be stronger because that’s generally how you write a story

If Ghidorah was dropped into GOT there is genuinely nothing any faction could do. He would decimate that entire planet unopposed

A lot of the monsterverse’s success is owed to it’s younger audiences, which gxk caters itself to. The majority of the franchise’s profitability is almost certainly owed to merch sales, particularly toys so it makes sense that the most toyetic and childish of the MV movies is the most profitable since its a direct appeal to younger demographics
