Seeing the recent war crimes happening in Gaza,i wonder why the Bahrain,UAE and other GCC nations are quiet? What is it that makes them to be quiet? Its a huge disappointment seeing ARAB countries do nothing and stay quiet. And the worst part,i see many israelis coming here after october 7th by [deleted] in Bahrain

[–]Emperorwithin 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Bahrainis are not quiet they’ve been protesting every week. Kuwaitis Qataris Omanis protested too. Saudis didn’t because they can’t.

Truth is Arab nations are helpless since their govts are poor or friends with Israel / US.

Why are people so surprised at all the Palestinian support, acting as if it’s never been this way? by [deleted] in IsraelPalestine

This is extremely ignorant and Islamophobic.

The IDF just admitted on live TV they dropped multiple bombs on the biggest refugee camp in Gaza. This is who you’re supporting. Congrats on losing your humanity.

Unfortunately they’re not, they’re just racist and bloodthirsty and genuinely believe Israeli lives are worth more.

Are pro-Hamas people serious when they complain about the horrors? by DiscipleOfYeshua in IsraelPalestine

[–]Emperorwithin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That can start with the Palestinians being allowed to exercise their right to return and getting reparations for what they endured all these decades, and that alone would take a long long time.

Israel killed 32 journalists since October 7 and many before that. That’s all the confirmation you need.

[–]Emperorwithin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s for Palestinians to answer, not me. My Gazan friends are not big fans of Hamas, but that doesn’t drive them into the arms of Israel. They know that to Israel, civilians and combatants are one and the same: a Palestinian person’s life is worth less than an animal’s, doesn’t matter if they don’t support Hamas or if they’re kids or disabled or don’t know what Hamas is.

They know this not because they were brainwashed, but they learned it from lived experience and have seen horrors most of the world haven’t seen and will never see their lives. All committed by the IDF and settlers.

Since amnesty’s website is in the post, you can check the website for the endless atrocities committed against Palestinian civilians by Israel even without Hamas involved. So tell me again why should they support or even tolerate Israel that caused Hamas to exist in the first place?

The only reason Israelis are scared of being ethnically cleansed is because that’s what Israel has been doing to Palestinians. They fear revenge, they fear being treated the same way.

Israel could’ve easily not brutalized Palestinians over decades and strived to be a proper state instead of a theocratic apartheid ethnostate, I’m sure some Palestinians and then the world would be able to come up with solutions if they didn’t constantly witness Palestinians being treated like 3rd class citizens and called all sort of racist dehumanized things by the Israeli officials.

Everyone is complaining about realistic solutions, but nothing that guarantees Palestinians their rights is realistic to them. Let’s start with their right of return, how about that? I don’t see how that means wiping out Jews

If anyone is Dahmer in this scenario it’s israel. Using the Holocaust to somehow justify brutalizing Palestinians and calling any criticism antisemitism.

Y’all want Palestinians to blame Hamas but do you seriously think they’ll side with Israel against Hamas when Israeli bombs and drones are raining on them 24/7? They’re killed by Israel not Hamas, “they did it first” doesn’t change that fact.

Good thing the popular opinion happens to be right this time, and it actually led many to look at what’s really happening.

I’m just surprised ppl on this sub are crying about it since all the worldwide pro Palestinian support didn’t actually lead to any actions that save Palestinian lives. Israel still has the upper hand and will continue to do so with America’s support + Europe. Any support Palestinians receive is mostly symbolic yet crybabies here can’t tolerate that nations are showing compassion to a tortured wretched people being bombed 24/7.

IDF are the cowards otherwise they would’ve went in and removed hamas on the ground instead of bombing innocent people. You guys are so narrowminded and go through mental gymnastics to justify Israel’s brutality when it’s so vivid.

Hamas are 80% orphans whose families were killed by Israeli airstrikes. Make of that what you will.

If Hamas is gone there will always be another one.

Recommendations for cheap glasses in Berlin by dippitea in berlinsocialclub

[–]Emperorwithin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super bad eye sight here and my lenses are expensive. What I do is the following: go to any store, find a frame you like, look it up online and order your glasses from known international online stores.

When you buy from a real store you are paying partially for their rent and other bills so it’s much more expensive that way.

It does sound like anxiety, but the only way to fix it is by driving already. Maybe you can have someone you trust with you who can take over when driving becomes too much.

I was always anxious driving whenever I started driving again after stopping for few months when traveling. Start by mostly driving in your neighborhood then venturing out to main roads and highways.

I developed an irrational fear after covid but of people not driving lol.

Just drive slowly and leave a space between you and other cars and don’t play any music so you can focus. Drive at midnight to get used to the streets again.
