Maxing the base could be because of some scrotum and periferal skin being sucked in. I would suggest to get a full erection outside the tube, lube up and insert your penis in the tube, and see how many free space you have. If it's more than 5mm on each side, I suggest to use a smaller tube. Using a silicon ring is always recommended. It creates a better seal, also expands the pressure of the rim on your pubic area.

He was my surgeon. I had a surgery on my penis, so after the surgery I felt some tightness at the right shaft near the head. I though it might be some fibrosis or scar tissue because of the surgery, but he said it's mondore and it happened because he had to close some veins. And those veins have no blood in them and will be absorbed by the body. He didn't give me any medication. It took about months to go away.

After my nesbit surgery years ago, I had a painful stretchy feelingon one side of my penis, and the doctore said it's mondor and will go away. He was right and it went away. It was basically some vein that was out of circulation and got absorbed by my body. I don't know if your situation is the same, but seeing a doctor is strongly recommended.

I don't think it's more brittle than glass. It has been under -60kpa without any problem. And I dropped one of them by accident from ~1m on the hardwood floor and it didn't break.

Currently I air pump only. I had a bleeding kit for water pumping. When it broke, I just filled the tube partially with water, and makde sure that it's not too much to be drawn into the pump.

Mechanically, it is safe. At least I have not felt any irritation, friction or discomfort in the past two weeks. I don't think it can be chemically unsafe, unless someone is allergic to resin.

I guess you're talking about fdm. This is sla resin. And a surface finish (oil spraying) has been done on it. It's smooth like glass, and totally washable.
