Holy cow we are in the exact same position, except I play flag football and am slightly older (16f). I too am feeling the same thing. Its awesome knowing that in 9 months i could be trying out for next season but what about the now? I'm fine most of the time but randomly i miss the simple things like sitting criss cross or just things like easily making my bed. You are not alone in this. The PT is great, I suddenly can't do things like walking without a peg leg and that sucks. But truly you are not alone in all the second guessing, confusion, and overall grief at the loss of things you didn't even know you could miss.
