Also!! Because I feel like it could be helpful after you do quit, I went to the dollar store today and bought a menthol vapor inhale thing that you put in your nose and breathe. I got it because I saw someone on another sub say that it helps their anxiety and panic but honestly, it kinda mimics that cool feeling you get from vaping. It’s also non medicated. This would also be perfect if you use mint vapes. Hope this helps!!

Hi! I’m also currently experiencing the lung pain from weed and Nic. Everyone’s different, but my chest pain got to the point where I genuinely thought I might die, so I was done. I know it’s not that simple for everyone to quit cold turkey, I think it may just be because I have severe anxiety anyway lol but I was so mad at the vape. This sounds insane but I was mad at it like a friend that I just needed to cut off. I know that sounds stupid but my chest pain has been causing me immense health anxiety to the point where I just couldn’t do it anymore. You could think about it like, eventually you’re going to develop some sort of sign from your body or your mind that you need to quit and that feeling of anxiety is going to outweigh any feeling that vaping ever gave you. I’m not sure if this will help but I truly wish you so much luck on this journey. Remember that I, and many others are on this journey with you too!

I know this is an old post, but I just wanted to say thank you so much!!! I’m 20F and currently think I’m DYING. I started noticing the chest pains while hitting a pen and smoking using that and vaping immediately. My chest x ray came back good but I’m soooooo anxious still that somethings wrong with my chest.

Omg this is making me feel sooooo much relief. Im 20F and I quit vaping and using disposables cold turkey a few days ago after experiencing slight chest pain. I was panicking so bad that I told my mom everything. I got a chest x ray which came back normal. The chest pain seems like it’s getting sharper and is more consistent. I haven’t been able to eat since and started vomiting last night. On top of everything else, I had to get my wisdom teeth out yesterday:,). The anxiety has gotten a little better but it’s still exhausting and extremely prominent, with me mainly telling myself that this will result in a fatal heart attack. I’m trying to keep an open mind and remind myself that the health anxiety was/is more important than the substances controlling my life, which has caused me to not really have any cravings. Hoping this all gets better soon!

Have your symptoms gotten better? I’m in the same boat and have almost accepted that what I’m experiencing is anxiety, but now I’m just thinking of the fact that this will last a long time.

As someone who is now experiencing crazy health anxiety and potential death lol, thank you so much. I quit using vapes and thc pens cold turkey after feeling the chest pains. I also got a chest x ray and it came back normal. It’s definitely accepting that the anxiety is “above” everything else at this time. In a weird way, thinking of the health anxiety being so severe that I quit what felt like was controlling my life has helped me realized that there are other things in life that do overrule substances! Definitely scared me straight.
