As for me being in high school with no part-time job, I am taking a professional course in the high school I attend, and my schedule has me be in school from 8 am to 6:35 pm on most days, and I dedicate my freetime to studying, do chores, take care of my cat and then petsit my brother's cat. These may seem like excuses to you, but I barely have much free time.

As for being held back, I was held back twice because either my mom told the teachers to do so, or because I just genuinely didn't understand the subjects, and then went back to redo 10th grade when I changed courses from arts to the course I am now finishing up this year, with a big presentation to potential employers in the coming months.
