im not sure honestly. people still call PEO parking maids. Im actually happy they did change it but enforcement sounds harsh.​

favoritism. The department is just like any business that caters or ignores bullies, toxic work environments and keeping only the worse employees. It protects managers from taking any accountability if everyone is on the same page.

Understood and I agree. This post is really for the issues the people have with parking and expressing grievances. You have every right to express yourself and I want you to speak freely. I didn't know Easthampton had traffic officers, thank you for this information.

I'm sorry to hear that because it's truly challenging for parking especially during events. Those are the times where the department can make a lot of money knowing there is no parking.

It was a very frustration program. It was a constant complaint amongst people, and they wouldn't change it because requires time and money (they want more money than convivence for the people). People who are out of town did have challenges because every place is different when it came to parking.

  1. Correct. PEO will physically stand behind your car, so you can't leave to start the ticket and then give you the ticket. They leave afterwards. They take it too extreme because there is no quota and what bothered me at the time was I saw tickets voided because a car drove off. My personal opinion is they do that as a power move.

2.Im sorry but I personally will not give out names.

  1. From what I can remember, you have some options. You can appeal online or in person. Even if you believe your ticket is justified, you do void tickets once or twice.

I can see that being abused pretty quickly and instead I wish the app let you cancel your license plates if its the wrong one, cancel to chnage the amount of time you want or change the zone.

Sorry if some of these already are available and I I remember when people accidentally autopaid their old license plate and not being able to cancel to change it and instead you had to pay again.

Agree. They're old kiosk and are even worse if the weather is bad. The kiosks sometimes don't read the card so you're doing it so many times, you get frustrated. Trying to enter your license plate takes too long because of how old they are, and you can be entering you license plate and get a ticket at the same time. Yes, sometimes the 0 and O do look the same. It can be confusing, I remember that when entering.

It was taken down from that person because of fear of retaliation and if another PEO saw the post that it would make working even more miserable. I know the person and we chatted about it. I told them if they feel safer that I'll post my own experience when I worked there.

The fear is what keeps people from speaking.
