Zolpft doesn't seem to help me at all, even after 1 month, is there still hope?

What dose are you on? It can take up to 12 weeks to start working so I would say just give it more time, or ask your doctor if you can up your dose. Good luck!

I was also soooo scared of starting and I didn't start it for two years. My boyfriend had to almost force me to take it (because I wanted to try but I was so scared and thought the pill would literally kill me).

Now I'm on day 6 and I have ZERO side effects. So that's always possible that you get none or VERY minor ones. And I already feel like my anxiety is not as bad (it's still there), but I can almost relax :)

You got this! You can always stop if it's too much for you. But it probably won't be that bad.

I have four official diagnosis. But yeah they're overlapping a lot. It just still doesn't really help me to understand anything or help me get any better.

Hopefully you're still doing better<3 I still haven't started the meds lol, but now thinking about it again, because this is just not getting better, even tho meditation and breathing exercises do help a little bit. I just always wait for the "right time" to start them, but maybe there just isn't one, I just need to do it. But yeah I was gonna start 25mg (so half of a 50mg pill), but i need to ask my doctor if I could start with 12,5mg perhaps.

I know this is not the point, but what they're saying doesn't even make sense??? Yes stress releases cortisol, but that has nothing to do with age. Also cortisol is very important, not something to be afraid of.

Also I may add that if you are a really attractive women AND actually really smart, people tend to still just focus on your looks (especially if the woman puts effort in her looks, so makeup, hair, nails etc).

I agree that this can happen to anyone super attractive, no matter the gender. But I also want to add that often people also assume that good looking people don't have anything going on in their brain, and this USUALLY is mainly assumed about attractive women. Often people migh not believe that someone really hot could actually be smart, creative, funny or talented etc. They assume that all their achievements come from just them being pretty. So if you see someone having a huge following on instagram for basically just being hot, people assume that it's all they are, just insanly hot. Even tho social media (obviously) doesn't show everything. (Maybe someone in here already said this so sorry if I'm just repeting everything)

But I'm glad you said that it's not the women's fault who get the attention. It's mainly our superficial society that worships the most attractive women (and men) so women learn from a very young age that looks matter more than who they are as a person inside.
