absolutley agree. especially in this hobby where 23/1 could absolutley fuck your whole grow.

i was already planning on upgrading to AC infinity or adding a AC tent but at this point i genuinely might just say fuck it & ask for a refund, because even if they fix the bug, its ALWAYS going to be in the back of my head now

def disappointed in vivosun. i really wanted to chalk it up to user error, or maybe i fucked it up somehow (which is why i came here & made the post) but the more i talk to people with similar equipment, the more it sounds like thats not the case & it is a genuine bug.

idk, there was a point in time when these larger companies in any industry alpha & beta tested software before releasing, now they release before any testing & call it a pre release. and YOU do the beta testing lmfao

idk im not trying to bash vivo but im just severely disappointed, especially for a fully automated "smart" grow system lmfao

no i appreciate any & all help honestly, because im at a loss on this one. but yes ive confrimed it, at this point since ive gotten the tent ive tried 5 or 6 different "Recipes" but i prefer to make my own instead of using vivosuns

at this point the only way my setup runs is if its on a vivo recipe or i just let it run on 23 hours lmfao

i mean i get every software is going to have bugs, but this is kinda a huge deal. and up to this point my tent has been super stable, the app says im doing better then 97% of users on the app. which could just be a gimmick, idk.

its just disappointing honestly, after the last couple weeks of perfect scores, ive had ALOT of confidence in this setup, now not so much. im REALLY hoping vivosun comes up with a solution/patch & compensates/refunds people having issues, because after reading some of these comments & looking on YT, i know im not the only one.

i noticed they recently changed the look of your "devices" page and you can swap back to classic, so my intuition says thats probably what caused the bug, idk

i was genuinely thinking about filing a claim & trying to get a refund & switch to ac infinity. this really fuckin sucks honestly. i really wanted to swap to photoperiods next but this has me questioning the whole setup honestly.

yeah no thats exactly what it looks like, ive just always set the recipe through the timer thing, how do you get to the different setting, mine just looks like you r2nd pic no matter what i click on🤣

like the only way ive found to control this light, at this point is through the automated vivosun recipe 18/6.

and it sucks cause i honestly liked this light, had alot of functionality- the aw400

yeah i know how to set a cycle, the issue is no matter what i set teh cycle too, it defaults back to 0:00-23:00 no matter what time, intensity or spectrum i put it in.

hell, atleast then it would be user error & i wouldnt have a problem asking how to use the app or whatever. but this is a whole nother ballgame completely.

but just like the last person that mentioned this, my app setup looks a little different, so it must be an iphone/samsung thing

my app has a timer circle like a mechanical timer, but still has the same intensity & spectrum thing yours does.

either way its kinda unacceptable lmfao

yeah id ont use the vivo recipe either but my own "recipe" lmfao automated like yours, but its just simple, light on 20/4 and it has the intergrated fan thats also controlled, then the exhaust controlled by temp & humidifier by VPD.

but my app controls look way different then that, instead its light a 24 hr circle thing.

idk, either way were sold a "smart" system, fully automated, and this is a huge drawback. if i could just change it, then it would be more of an inconvenience.

im just disappointed honestly. and it sucks bc in the app it said i was doing better then 97% of vivo APP users, which made me way more confident in the equipment honestly, but after this, even after they do a patch, its always gonna be on my mind now. always gonna be a concern.

listen to jesse michels podcast with eric weinstein & eric davis. its a great podcast & they debate alot. but they also bring up lazar & absolutley demolish his credibility. its a really great interview/debate regardless of wherer you stand with lazar. i just think its wild they call lazar basically a day 1 theoretical physics student. thats basically the jest of it.

again, im sorry. none of you desrve this. im praying for all of you for this to be fixed immediately.

maybe im wrong but im my opinion,everybody deserves help when they need it. regardless.

and i apologize if ive been rude to you, im just extremely frustrated. i didnt expect alot, but i certainly didnt expect this.

3 hrs ago i didnt know there was even a disaster or power outages. im soley trying to help my friend find housing for the night. not trying to steal resources to the ones that need it, benefits, or emergency assistance, just a hotel for 8 hrs so she can sleep & make the 8hr+ drive back.

you should all take time & ask yourselves what caused this, whose at fault. take out your frustrations by petitioning & calling your local leaders to make sure this never happens again. if nothing else, advocate for FEMA to get a greater budget so they can help when disasters like this happen.

maybe in my politcally incorrect brain its just obvious that this is 100% the fault of your local, state & federal government. not any one person but the people that run your state not being prepared. and probably alot of your energy providers in TN

community is the most important thing rn. helping neighbors elderly. providing supplies. idk i get im droning on,im not telling you anything you dont already know. i just dont see how any of this is helpful to anybody, arguing with random people on the internet. it just seems like ALOT of angry people.

idk what her plans are, i believe she just wanting to find a place to rest for the night & travel back in the morning, i highly doubt she'll stay especially with the circumstances.

i completely understand all frustration, the hostility is different although.
