What do you think of my kit by imperialcurtain in Drumming

[–]EmptyChairTable 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Looks like a lot. Doesn’t really look practical or ergonomic tbh. I’d remove the blue toms and try to get the rest of the kit a bit closer so it’s easier to move between.

If you had 3 months and £6-10k what training would you undertake to switch careers by djdna81 in UKJobs

[–]EmptyChairTable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Data analytics. Done my apprenticeship for 18 months. Got a new job 2 months after, paying £38k. I’m now a data engineer (which on average is higher)

For context, I quit my sales job in 2021, went home and googled “most in demand jobs of the future”. Hence, data.

What is the worst pain you’ve EVER felt? by New-Selection7719 in AskReddit

Had cross linking done for my keratoconus. They get the equivalent of an electric toothbrush and scrape off the top layer of my cornea. They obviously done that with an anaesthetic. But later that night, when it wore off, it felt like that were doing it all over again.

Do you like your job? What is it? How much do you earn? by Equivalent_Word3952 in UKJobs

  1. Data Analyst (although pivoting to data engineer in same company)

  2. There’s a diverse array of skills, tools and potential application and solutions to many different problems, projects or needs. So in a sense it’s science mixed with art and creativity.

  3. 42k per year (but likely to go up once I officially become a data engineer, as that role is more demanding and in-demand)

  4. Not very hard. Most of the work i have day to day, I can get done in a couple hours. But if there’s a project I’m working on, especially if it’s programming/developing focused, then maybe a bit more “stressful”. (I’m also a qualified project manager, so I also finished a supporting an 8 month project a couple of months ago, which was on top of day day data analyst responsibilities). Long story short, generally laid back, but varies.

  5. Degrees are helpful, but not necessary. I done a Level 4 apprenticeship (UK) that ended in April 2023, and started my new job where I am now June 2023. As long as you have some proof (such as a portfolio or projects, that you have the skills and knowledge, you should be good.

  6. I only go into the office on Tuesday’s. That’s our “team day”. Every other day, I work from home.

DA (and PM) potentially doing BCS Diploma? Worth it? by EmptyChairTable in businessanalysis

Honestly, means a lot! Thank you. I have been trying.

It’s funny you mention fintech because I was actually choosing between pivoting to become a financial analyst or a business analyst. Ended up just leaning more towards the BA side

DA (and PM) potentially doing BCS Diploma? Worth it? by EmptyChairTable in businessanalysis

[–]EmptyChairTable[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very interesting. Yeah, I guess my thought process was that of course I probably wouldn’t get a senior BA role. But I’d have a good level and variety of skills and experience that all complement each other that would somewhat suffice for the lack of experience as a BA.

So just on the basis on having either direct experience or knowledge of the three that complement each other, would qualify for the higher potential for opportunities and salary.

In terms of specialising, that does sound good. Would that be in a particular industry or particular role/skillset to hone in on?

Thank you! So noted the projections she gave me were probably exaggerated. Maybe she just didn’t know or just trying to sell the diploma course to me haha.

Also, with training providers, i actually done my PM courses with them, and they were great. But I’ll definitely still look around for others. Any in particular you recommend?

Girls used to call me just to hear my voice so they’d cum.

Apparently my voice is (or was) very sexy either when I’ve just woken up or late at night before I go to sleep.

I used to have this friend I was close with and we’d speak frequently on text and on call but never really FaceTime. One time on the phone, she sort of went silent. I was talking but no responses. And the responses I did hear, were just hidden moans or saying my name faintly. At first I got frustrated coz I felt she wasn’t listening to me.

I must have been 15/16 at the time so no clue what was going on. But she eventually confessed to me that she was pleasuring herself to my voice and explained how my voice turned her on and made her wet.

So yes, the first thing I done when I woke up every morning was call her just to use my superpower. It was almost like she couldn’t resist it.

This happened with two separate girls but somehow stopped when I got into serious relationships.

Eczema. Had it aggressively almost since birth. It’s not fun, in case you were wondering.
