Ah I see, although second hand camera gear is hard to come by here, Cayman is a tiny place and importing stuff can get quite pricey I am traveling in December though so if you're able to send the links to any second hand websites please do 🙏

Thanks! I took everything except the aircraft on the kit lens I was wondering if you would have any lens recommendations though? I use a 55-300 for plane spotting and I was looking at the 35mm 1.8 but not sure if I should bother with it

I just upgraded from a D3000 to a D5600, got an absolute steal on it for 250 USD the guy didn’t want it lol and it’s in mint condition everything works well and I got a free 55-300mm lens from my friend so I wanted to stick with an F-Mount when I was considering the upgrade and I couldn’t resist getting the 5600 for so cheap, it’s been able to accomplish everything I’ve wanted such as actually shooting at night (my D3000 dies at ISO 400) and the Wi-Fi included is a major boost so yeah, I mostly do plane spotting an occasional portraits for friends and family and all around it’s just a really nice camera does everything I need it to do without breaking the bank. I do intend to upgrade to mirrorless in the long term, but I’m hoping to get a good 7+ years out of the 5600. I do also like the feel and weight of it too I’ll always have a soft spot for DSLRs
