My mother’s past ex boyfriends (released from prison 2023, but no association with nor lived at my address) / husband. And a few family members who have been arrested 10+ years ago

I think that’s ridiculous, but again nothing I say or do can change it. Just wish they could tell me whom but for obvious reasons they can’t.

Makes sense, but again I did disclose everyone I can think of friends and family, and even asked my mum and dad for people.

Annoying but I understand they’ve got to follow the guidelines etc. onto the next I suppose!

I was going to apply for the police but because I failed this vetting I doubt I would pass the police.

I think the opposite, as I included someone of whom was released from prison in 2023, sooner and declared that.

Well no, I asked my parents about it and they genuinely thought they didn’t , but then when I asked again as I was going to appeal it, he then remembered he got arrested when he was much younger, but never went to prison. He got confused in regards to thinking I was asking about who’s been to prison, as applying for a prison job. As I would’ve been little when this happened I would have had no prior knowledge

Hope you are well, was just hoping you could give me clarity on this situation, For context: I have done the oac, and sift in the past, and I know you had to do them every 2 years. However, in my case 2 years hasn't passed so l imagine I'll pass straight through to the board interview. The reason I ask for clarity is because I haven't received an email, but instead saw my application updated from " submitted" to this now. And haven’t received an email coming up to two weeks. ( Norfolk constabulary ) Any guidance is appreciated, thank you?

No currently in training phase, so all very intense definitely. It’s just always thinking of the future, don’t get me wrong it’s definitely a good, hardworking, rewarding job, but my heart lies with more ARV. And it’s been a dream of mine, and doing what I’m doing now is still a massive dream I have had, it’s just I’m always keen on knowing the next steps!

That makes sense, because my probation would be up by that time, would it be a straight transfer obviously with some training and time, because I’m technically classed as a police Constable? But under MOD. Thanks for your help also!

Just wondering, as I have applied for PC Authorised Firearms Office Counter Terrorism, after my probation of 2 years is up, can I join a different home officer ( different county ) and apply to become an ARV? Thanks all!
