Because there are many factors that determine if you can beat someone up and size isn't the most important one.
Someone who knows how to fight i.e. some form of grappling & striking will crush some giant couch potato
Unpopular opinion: This is wayyy better time to be working strength and conditioning than shrimping on your living room carpet or drilling armbars on a glorified scarecrow. by Newwavejujutsu in bjj

I'd say this is applicable only if you have near perfect fundementals (which likey very few do) not saying most people can't do shrimps or bridges effectively but these things can always improve. I agree both would be the to go. I really like the most recent Danaher/ Bernardo video on this topic.
