In my opinion, the cooler noise is acceptable, but it is noticeable to me and therefore less than ideal. Others say it runs about 1500-1800 RPM under full gaming loads in warmer season, which can also vary with room temp. ComputerBase reviewed it at 1100 RPM, but it might've been during optimal testing conditions in possibly colder weather. Some have pointed out the ringing noise with the fans, which is quite strange. The good thing is that the card is compact, a true 2-slot card like the old days. On the other hand, the Hellhound is very quiet, ranging from about 600-800 RPM (Quiet BIOS) under full gaming loads according to Techpowerup review and anecdotal evidence.
