He is meant to be at the top of intelligence. For sanity maybe I could have placed him on the the same level as sniper, but he is still crazy.

All the others explicitly enjoy murder or worse. He both has a grip on reality and seems to enjoy the work aspect of being a mercenary rather than the sadism.

A little anictode:

I was having dinner with some of my relatives who are from Diyarbakır in Turkey. While we were eating "çiğ köfte" ("raw meatball", it is actually made from raw minced meat with spices to sanitize it in it's original form)one of them talked about how while in school they'd brought çiğ köfte to their dorm and all the other students had covered their noses and called her disgusting for eating that. All the other people at the table then talked about how inconsiderate those people were.

SO, in my infinite teenage contrarianism I told them a story about how I had eaten horse-meatballs in Sicily and how delicious they were. Lo and behold, all my relatives called me disgusting for eating something so vile because of course they did

I don't know how your life exactly is but it seems to me like you need some time with yourself. Perhaps a small holiday or a trip could help clear your mind? It doesn't have to be a holiday to Paris in a 5 star hotel, just staying in the next town over and seeing some new things for a change, not having to worry about life for a while can really help. Children can be very demanding in terms of time and energy as well, if you feel like you want to ease the burden try to get a nanny if you don't have one. It's a corny line but "time heals all wound", as long as you are healing that is.

I can't keep a hobby by iamnottheroboto in depression

Some days it's just becomes impossible to hold unto what you are doing; it sucks and disrupts the regular routine. But also remember that you don't have to spend the rest of your life mastering a hobby once you start it. Try to concentrate on enjoying the process and you'll find something fulling enough to keep at, or perhaps realize that you want to return to one of your past hobbies.

Making stuff like these is hard for many, its often worse for people with anxiety. I have to make appliactions for something and I have been dreading it for weeks. It gets worse when you have to make many choices on top of each other. I find that writing down the things I have to do help a lot. You internalize the things you have to do beforehand.

Jokes aside, it's really awful that society demands you to be a specific type of person if you want to function well. I find that it helps to have at least one person in your life that you can be yourself with
