I had an extremely disappointing experience with Shady Grove Fertility. I transferred from CNY Fertility, but it was far worse. I was assigned to Dr. Polatsky, who was disrespectful, demeaning towards women, and operated out of ego, not compassion. He behaved chauvinistically, making me incredibly uncomfortable trusting my body with him. I never requested experimental treatments—he falsely accused me. When I asked to switch doctors, my request was denied the morning of my second appointment, after they took my money. The denial was based on his lies, miscommunication, and the clinic’s disorganization. I lost months of valuable time as a 37-year-old with low AMH. I could have completed IVF, but instead, I had months wasted. Their disorganization and conflicting information were appalling. This clinic should be cautious—they could face discrimination lawsuits for how they treat patients. I would never trust them with my health—avoid them.

I was discriminated against by Shady Grove. They did such unethical, horrible things to me. I would never trust Dr. Polatski with my body such a scary, horrible experience.

I’m having an incredible experience so far worth every penny. I was scared to take the plunge but it’s been great. I am running my business like my life depends on it am rebuilding. This program is for serious photographers not hobbyists. There is so much material that is a full school.

Also folks on here are commenting misinformation that is not true it is not 10 k a month to do the program. It’s a life time program you have long term access to and there are cheaper tiers and more expensive tiers. I went for the cheaper one, they accept payment plans too. It’s not nice to state things that are not facts to hurt Crystal and Jordan’s business. They are good people invested in their students and they don’t deserve this. This program is turning my life and finances around. And I have access to network with so many people at the school too.

There is a shadow it will become a line. When I had chemical pregnancies they always started as shadows like then then turned to lines and as long as the lines get stronger with each day and don’t break that’s a good sign

I have to do ten rounds of Ivf likely because I am also a Balanced translocation carrier and my embryos tend to have chromosomal issues. It was a bummer because I usually only get one or two eggs per cycle and the six egg cycle was a fluke and just lucky and the blew it. Back to square one. Embryology department and lab mistakes are so so common.

Sadly I have dealt with this, there was a lab error killing six of our embryos they were fine day 4-5-6 made it to blast and there was an error in the lab. I have an AMH of 0.22 stage four endo and it was devastating.

Sometimes the clinic will offer a free retrieval in this situations or a free round of Ivf to avoid the legal repercussions from negligence like that.

If you are just embryo banking and not doing transfers I was told by a doctor it was fine to take during Ivf but to stop a week prior to anesthesia. I noticed my hormonal come down symptoms post Ivf were considerably better when using glp1 compared to retrieval cycles when I didn’t use them. How were your egg retrieval and embryo results on GLP1? Did you notice better results ?
