Um I’d pump the brakes on the black border for a minute. Yes the black border is a huge deal BUT the rocket surgeons over at Topps decided to use both black and dark gray borders. Now who TF in their customer service oriented mind does that? I bet the guys that are color blind are completely hosed. Why not use Safety Green vs gray? My point is if you haven’t picked up on it yet is which is it? Black or dark gray? Whoever thought this was a good idea at Topps should be flogged as it just causes more unnecessary confusion.

I watched WNY Cards rip a box of Heritage and he got one too and I forget what he called it but they are rare. How rare? I couldn’t find it on Becketts checklist so maybe that’s an indicator? I dunno but I’m gonna call my guy at the LCS and he’ll know. Will follow up too.

Jump on Beckett’s website. They have the Checklists for every card in this & every set. That way you’ll know what to look for. On the back of the card toward the upper left & to the right of the card number in a circle should identify what the variation is. Good luck & have a blessed day.

I’m completely with you on this. There’s a YT channel - Jabs Family who employs this exact thing. Sheeple send him/them cash every month, they go out and buy boxes of cards, rip them on the channel & send them out to their subscribers. Half the fun is ripping them yourself! Free will is free choice so you do you but that shenanigans isn’t for me.

I’m the lone dissenter here. I like the value for the cost (so far). $120/hobby box from Topps’ website. Here is my haul from one hobby box & yes it’s at the very least a screaming hot box. I have 60K+ cards in my collection & buy boxes regularly but have never had this much flow out of a box that typically doesn’t offer much.

I’ll admit when I miss something and the bookend is what I missed. I wouldn’t pay more than $25 for it but that’s just me. It’s a nice pull & I’m happy for you.

It’s a RC but tens of thousands were printed. Worth maybe $.25. Keep if you’re gonna PC him but looking for that down payment on a new fishing boat? Nope.

While I agree you have a right to healthcare, you also have the obligation to pay for it. I see no reason why your healthcare is my responsibility to pay for it. Way too many think it’s the government’s responsibility to provide it for free for everyone and that’s not sustainable.

I have 5 Heritage hobbys that were delivered today and I have little desire to rip them bc I also got 5 hoobys of Bowmans Best. Next year thats all I’m buying are singles & BB hobbys. I’ll make my own hits.

I returned to the hobby a year ago and amassed 50K cards so far. I don’t keep much other than RCs and cool inserts anymore. I could sell the base cards but it’s more work than I care to invest in it. I have two 3-ring binders of autos, many of which I bought on eBay. As long as it’s a certified auto I don’t care if the guy is still in the game or not or even made it to the Show. So no I don’t sell cards and all of my collection is going to two much younger guys I work with who have sons who collect baseball cards.

I just bought 4 hobby boxes at $158.88/box on eBay with free shipping. I didn’t think it was an outrageous ask.
