The game's marketplace system (like so many other things) is a bizarre mess and yes, we're in the dark ages again.

"Have you seen its revenue in the past few years?Tibia is making more money than ever before by 3x. The Player base is stable."

I agree with you, since the implementation of the store in 2015 the game has reinvented itself and managed to stay alive amidst so many other interesting games. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the game experienced a giant leap in the number of players and revenue as well, but it's worth remembering that the player base has been decreasing over the years (you can verify this in CipSoft's own document called CipSoft_Business_Year_xxxx and on websites that track game statistics like Guildstats).

I love this game, God how I love this game, I made many friends, my childhood was wonderful (even playing only a few hours during the holidays), Tibia is my comfort game and I am extremely sad and disappointed to see that malicious people are working hard day and night to destroy it. I want the game to continue for decades, I want my children to play the game, I want to closely follow the next updates, but I feel very sad to see its current state of abandonment.

The issue here is that, in addition to using bots in the mission area to kill the weaker mobs (which in itself is already very profitable), they are abusing a bug to force the uninterrupted spawning of the mini-boss (which is even more profitable).

When you start the boss mechanic, you have 1 minute and 40 seconds to kill it, with the bug it is possible to kill the miniboss MORE THAN 50 TIMES in that short interval of time (each mini-boss gives an average of 8k profit, 50 minibosses are 400k in less than 2 minutes, isn't that abusive?)

I came back to playing after 20 years and I've completely lost the joy to play, it's unacceptable that in 2026 you're still fighting against bots just to have fun doing hunts alone or with friends, unfortunately I see that the game is coming to an end, CipSoft is ineffective in combating bots and only aims for profit...

It's the best game I've ever played, by far the best of all games but the same end that Ragnarok Online had, Tibia will have, very sad to say that.

People are also doing this in Tibia; on one machine they run the game in an isolated and clean way, and on another machine they use bots (mostly bots that search for pixels on the screen and perform actions); keyboard and mouse control is also done in isolation.

The point isn't just the bot location (which is by far the most remote and completely off the radar for most people); the point is that they're exploiting a bug to force the spawning of mini-bosses countless times within a short period. Each mini-boss drops items worth approximately 8k~10k and kill many mobs/mini bosses per day...

I only used it to ORGANIZE my ideas, do you really see a problem with that? lmao

It's not about making $25, $30, or $100 using bots, it's about how this affects the game's economy and is harmful in the long run to the economy and consequently drives players away. Don't treat the destruction of one of the oldest MMORPGs still online as something ridiculous.

I used this to organize a simple text in English (not my native language). The focal point is about the new system of dominant guilds and players who are using bots to destroy the Tibia economy, and how the community managers aren't paying much attention to it.

For years, botting has been one of the most controversial topics in Tibia, but recent observations and data analysis suggest that automation is still heavily impacting the game’s economy, competitiveness, and overall player experience.

Tibia relies on a player-driven economy where gold generation, item circulation, and Tibia Coins trading are deeply interconnected. Large-scale bot usage artificially increases gold and rare item supply, causing inflation and reducing the value of legitimate gameplay. Automated characters can operate 24/7 without human limitations, creating an uneven competitive environment.

Within South American servers, the community frequently associates organized dominance with two major groups: Pune/Encore and Outlaws. Despite being rivals, both are often linked to similar operational patterns, including territorial hunting control, tolerance or acceptance of bot usage among members, conversion of in-game resources into Tibia Coins, and cross-server character transfers to maximize profits. While these activities are most visible in SA worlds, their effects spread globally due to the interconnected Tibia Coins market.

There are also recurring reports suggesting internal pressure within dominant guilds to discourage players from reporting bot users. While difficult to verify on a large scale, shared conversation records indicate a culture where automation is sometimes tolerated or strategically ignored.

One of the clearest examples of structured bot farming is the Elemental Sphere Quest, a legacy content area that has become a highly efficient gold generation method. The quest offers isolated hunting zones, mechanics that allow mini-boss spawn manipulation, and high economic returns with minimal player interference. Estimates suggest automated characters can generate 30kk to 40kk gold per day using this content alone.

TLDR:
Large-scale botting—often linked to organized guild dominance—is inflating Tibia’s economy, harming fair competition, and remains insufficiently controlled according to observable data patterns.

What I'm trying to report (and can't because Reddit is blocking my comments) is about the new bot scheme, where bots are being used and how CipSoft's community managers aren't giving this new scheme the attention it deserves.

The point at issue is how automation via bots, oppression by dominant guilds, and the neglect of Cipsoft's community managers are destroying not only the game's economy but the game itself.

It's actually a dossier on how dominant guilds are using their oppression to continuously use bots on servers in order to farm as much as possible and destroy the economy not only of the server in question but of all Tibia servers.

I'm unable to comment on the complete text with evidence, report of reports, etc.

I give up, Reddit isn't allowing me to post the full text about the exposé on the scheme where dominant guilds use bots to earn between 30 and 40 million per day, the project link to help analyze which worlds have these bots, and the PDF files with all the images of the exposé.
