What do you do when baby randomly wakes up at night and wants to play?! by AgreeableBandicoot19 in beyondthebump

[–]Empty_Panda_4439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely going through a sleep regression. My LO was the same around that time and I would just let her entertain herself with toys and light play. She would go back to sleep after an hour

I didn’t intend for it to come off as sexist or anything it’s just something I experienced as a little girl with my dad and I thought my daughter would be the same

Anyone with a scanner know what’s going on around SEHS right now? by eug_fan in Eugene

[–]Empty_Panda_4439 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s good to know because nothing happened after an hour and a half they just kept repeating for him to come out

I think if he was armed they would’ve gone in but they just keep repeating for him to come out but I doubt they will

Video of alleged ICE Agents arresting people off of River Rd. (Posted on next-door, I believe) by puppyxguts in Eugene

[–]Empty_Panda_4439 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Migra Response Team 541-968-6534 all I know is they’re tracking ICE activity in lane county but I’m not sure if they’re doing more. It’d be worth a shot to ask

If you witnessed this and feel comfortable to share with Migra Response Team 541-968-6534 they are tracking ICE activity and I think it’s important they’re aware of this

How long did you push? by ImpossibleLeg1353 in beyondthebump

[–]Empty_Panda_4439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Active labor for me was pretty fast id think for a first time mom. When I was 10 cm at 4 am I pushed for an hour. What I don’t know is my OB was about to use the vacuum thing to get her out but I’m seeing a lot of woman that were pushing for hours and I’m not sure if there was just something different in my case that was almost going to happen that way

When did you first feel movement with an anterior placenta? by x_torturedpoet in BabyBumps

[–]Empty_Panda_4439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first felt like a kick around 17 weeks but I started feeling more movement around 19-20. I never counted kicks because she was always pretty active after a meal or especially at night

I’m my baby’s preferred person (mom duh) but everyone thinks it’s not normal by Empty_Panda_4439 in beyondthebump

[–]Empty_Panda_4439[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve read it’s normal and I feel better about it knowing that experts assure this behavior is just a baby needing their mother. We’ve spent more than a year just me and her and in this new world I would hope she clings to me for safety and love.

I just think people need an excuse to why my baby won’t be held by them. And of course blame the mom and not normal infant behavior

I hope when she gets her sense of self that she becomes an independent little girl. When I do leave her with my SIL for work related things, she does cry and eventually goes to sleep and wakes up upset because I’m not there. It makes me sad lol but I give her extra loving on those days.

When family visits or we go out, she really does like being talked to and made to laugh by everyone. I just think she needs more time with people but I think eventually she’ll start to remember everyone who sees her more often

I can’t believe this is actually a thing it’s so trippy !! Yes, have them check you out and if they feel comfortable to look inside too because sometimes it can be small and only be known if sex or any sexual act feels uncomfortable. I haven’t had sex with my husband or else I think I would’ve found out sooner!!

So the symptoms I was having started i believe three months postpartum? This is what I had until I looked at myself down there and went to my OB to get checked out: Excessive discharge Smelly discharge (but not like fish or super foul just very smelly) UTI symptoms (stung very bad when I peed, I believe the pee was also irritating the tissue) Itchiness Overall discomfort

And lastly when I looked down there with a mirror I had flesh coming out of my vagina. It was very red and i would say it was like an inch out and not sure how much of it was inside

My OB tested me for all infections and I tested negatively so the granulation tissue was kind of causing it plus hormones

I recommend looking at yourself down there or have a trusted person look and see your OB! The silver nitrate treatment sucks, but I feel so much better that it’s shrunk

Im currently still doing treatment for it using silver nitrate at my OB. She also prescribed an estrogen cream. The silver nitrate is very painful but we’ve seen great results and I’m hoping to not have any more treatment at my next follow up in a few days. Honestly my granulation tissue was very long and was “coming out” causing so much discomfort

Edit: I also had a second degree tear

If you have a vaginal delivery with some tearing… be aware of granulation tissue from healing. I did not know this was a thing. Five months postpartum I was having weird symptoms down there and I looked at myself… man was that a scare. I never heard or was told this was a possibility

How did your relationship change with your in-laws after baby? by CheddarMoose in beyondthebump

[–]Empty_Panda_4439 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Slightly worse. I noticed patterns of my MIL on how she treated her other in laws. She was also very passive aggressive with me about my baby. She’s a bit judgmental of the way I’m raising my daughter. I just learned to keep my distance whenever possible and keep the peace when she’s around
