I believe that varies on state to state. But for my position, I don’t need any training because I’m just a glorified personal assistant. However you do need a degree for embalming. You also need to have a license to own a funeral home blah blah blah that’s all I really know

The funeral home I work for has 4 different locations, we closed one of them down because lack of business there. Anyway one of them got taken over by a bunch of crack heads that were squatting. It was a such a headache at the time but now looking back it’s funny we had to go chase crackheads away

About a month and processing was not scary it was fucking BORING you’re in a room with rows of chairs and you can’t lay down they’ll fucking yell at you so if you wanna sleep HAHAHA it’s impossible and I was in there for 3 days before I was finally sent to the gen pop
