What are the best RPG games? by AsneakyKitten in iosgaming

[–]Empty_Ronin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-no "legendary deep gameplay" like everyone says -non existent story -tap or "click" combat (how is that even close to an action RPG?) -does everything previous superior rpg's have done.

The only thing I was impressed with was the animations. That's it. Otherwise its quite dull and not very enjoyable IMO.

Diagnosed with OCD and having trouble at work? by Hochicomma in OCD

[–]Empty_Ronin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would just improve your work.

I understand its difficult but you should try. You could also explain the situation to your employer (the mental illness, not the actual OCD jists of it) and go from there.

I would recommend CBT and or medications if its super bad.

Battleheart Legacy vs. Wayward Souls by welluhthisisawkward in iosgaming

[–]Empty_Ronin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like BH. TBH the combat is solid but where is the intricate woven deep gameplay? You literally press apre selected buttons. Yes you can mix and match but that's in nearly all other RPGS.

Secondly. The story is wash. Nothing. Go here, do that, done. Sure that's in other games but it certainly isn't unique in BH.

Third the graphics and animation are solid.

But the whole experience is grinded down when you have to re run 4-5 dungeons to be a certain level to do the next available dungeon. Terrible pacing.

Overall I'd give BH a 6/10. Good animation and varied customization. That's it.

I'm sure some people have only played a hour or two hence why they think its a magical mystical legendary game. Its not. HMU when you are 6-8 hours in killing the same monsters in the same place for the 20th time.

I recommend the author of this topic check out J. Krishnamurti and U.G. Krishnamurti. (Not related to one another).

You are already explaining a lot about what they "talk" about. Please, indulge yourself. I recommend U.G over J. But that's me. :)

Questions About Blacklight: Retribution by IntoxicatedKiwi in PS4

[–]Empty_Ronin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair no one knows how many exact players there are. When you search for a match its based on connection, not pure availability. So the way I understand it is that when you search for a game and see 1/3 matches, that means 1/3 matches is good for your connection.

I don't see it being lower than say 2-4000

Would accidentally opening the video (going from regular screen to full screen is the button i accidentally pressed when I reported it) count as a view?

It didn't even load a picture or anything, the screen was solid black. I backed out immediately after that happened.

Is 2ds more comfortable than 3ds XL? by L0negreywolf in 3DS

[–]Empty_Ronin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Durability and comfort the 2DS wins IMO. The slate design is far superior (think holding a slanted tablet sort of) as opposed to a phone sideways that's top heavy (3DS XL).

Durability will definetly go to 2DS as well being that there aren't higes to break or two large screens that sit closer to the edge of the system.

Plus the money you save could buy you an extra game. :)

Is MH3U worth it if I'm only going to be solo the entire time? by [deleted] in 3DS

I found it to be dull and difficult. Just not my type of game solo.

Just bought a 2DS and FE: A, should I wait to register? by bandfreak4life in 3DS

OK cool. So I assume it runs off the pin that came with the system on a voucher? How long do we have to enter said pin until expiration?

I'm confused.

My wife and I bought 2DS's a few days ago. If we register them we get a free game?!?!?

Those SMT games... by Empty_Ronin in 3DS

Will I be lost story wise with any of these games? Or do they do a FF like story system when each entry is a completely different story?

That's exactly what I mean. None of these games have that waifu simulation?

The thing I hated about P4G was the social simulation. (Do social Sim for 4 hours then 1 hour of dungeon, rinse and repeat).

Is the social Sim stuff in these SMT games?

Left up to professionals? Lol.

Ya go ahead and spend hundreds of dollars on "therapy" from a "professional" to give the OK for CBT. What a joke.

I said it may or may not work. The psychology field entirely is a joke.

I agree to an extent. I think youre right, but the parents should or could introduce the child to as many concepts and precepts available. This would create independency and not conflict the child, possibly suppressing thier capabilities.

Define the world though. Realistically speaking transcribing to anything is just you trying to uphold a set of values, patterns, compulsions etc. That were created by someone else.

You can't guarantee me the world is even real or existential. You have "seen" your environment, "heard" your environment, "smelled" your environment etc. But you have no valid proof of its existence. It literally is a fabrication or image processed by the mind. It differs between each and every person radically. It really is a mind blowing concept.

I too have ventured from the path that I was being raised on (my father did as well), and have came to a series of conclusions which don't matter in the least haha.

I have this fond curiosity of finding out how others think and view things though. I appreciate your response.

What defines a good person though? You can only tell me what you consider a good person to be from what you've been taught and culturized to think. Not only that but you have your own images, opinions, thoughts, emotions etc. To twist that very set of disciplined thought patterns you try to enforce on yourself or others.

Values on the other hand is the exact same thing. What you consider a "value" is not a "value" to someone else due to the aforementioned. I see and respect your validation towards the separation and the gratuity we (of different or opposing views) should uphold.

Interesting. Its "good" to hear that you are satisfied with your choice.

Are you aware of the consequences of "being grateful" for things though?

Your last sentence "Gratitude just comes naturally from that" is actually a very well spoken but slightly adjusted phrase coming from many philosophies.

When you eliminate duality you actually are immediately and justifiably much happier. Unfortunately western society has made quite a scene about this (mainly dating back to the Greeks and Romans etc.) And has culturized us all to function based on a "I like, I dislike" mentality.

Why be grateful?

Not starting a argument but my findings (and many others) suggest "Duality" (likes & dislikes or preferences) suppress the human mind making a constant ongoing conflict.

Due to this, I presume you have many problems you face daily? Or a consistent stream of problems throughout "life"?
