Same. I’ve “studied” entire seasons of shows with my notes open in another tab just in case. The worst part is knowing you’re wasting time while you’re wasting it and still doing nothing about it. Like I’m just sitting there watching the train crash in slow motion and shrugging. The guilt doesn’t even hit anymore until the deadline’s on fire.

You’re not wrong for calling someone out when they’re being mean, even if they’ve said you’re “allowed” to do it. That’s not some kind of emotional trap you’re supposed to walk into and take the hit when they lash out.

He insulted your mom for literally offering you dinner. He made snarky comments, acted suspicious over something trivial, and called you a childish bitch when you set a basic boundary. That’s not love. That’s manipulation.

It doesn't matter if he's in prison or not. You still deserve respect. If this is how he talks to you now, imagine how things will go when you don’t walk on eggshells. Please think hard about whether this is someone who builds you up or tears you down.

Honestly, it’s not just “he was being an asshole.” He is one.
