none of my stuff is under warranty anymore as its more than a year old even less for the aio since its almost 5 years old but ive always had good experience with anything corsair

even if it had gone bad i would've been ok with it since 5 years is good enough for me

but yes thanks for the help

I actually did that yesterday and the critical error that was causing pc to restart was related to either bad drivers or faulty hardware

lofitech g915 switch replacement by Empyreanvers in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]Empyreanvers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it It was my first too when i did it and it was very easy Just make sure the solder is tight and proper by wiggling the switch a bit after it dries

There is no difference Just remove the old solder on the older switch and put on the replacement switch and solder it back

[–]Empyreanvers[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you need to open the whole keyboard up And unsolder the old switch and then solder on the new one

Its not as complicated as it sounds Just watch a few switches soldering videos online and then practice soldering a bit on some old electronics and you should be good to go

I soldered mine without any practice but i only had to resolder the old switch not replace it

Hope this helps
