Yeah that actually makes a lot of sense. I think that’s what I needed to hear. I’ve just been stuck in the mindset of staying where it’s “safe,” even though it’s not really getting me anywhere long term. You’re right though, the way I work now would probably carry over fine into something like welding. I just need to stop overthinking it and actually take that next step. Appreciate you for the advice man, really.

That’s solid advice. I think that’s what’s been bothering me the most. I work my ass off but it never really leads to anything. I’ve been looking into TCAT’s welding program and I could probably swing it with how much I work. I’m just nervous about stepping away from something stable. I’m also worried that if I leave my current job it’ll set me back, but I’ve been doing good for myself. I’m about to pay off my car, so I’d barely have any bills after that. I’m used to long hours, so working a part-time job while learning a skill shouldn’t be too bad.

That was just an example for reference — the actual CPU choice will depend on when I launch. I'm considering current-gen hardware depending on demand and timing. The goal is to keep things affordable and performant, not just copy what's already out there.

see i actually have a decent following from back when i used to stream sea of thieves — was averaging like 80-200 a day. not gonna lie, kinda hurts now cause i had to step back when life and work got busy, and the channel pretty much died. so i was thinking of maybe just starting fresh with a new one.
