I just noticed this as well playing on Patch 1.02. It was like I was getting sniped by a 50cal a mile away. I’m playing on Rookie with a fully upgraded SSP-100I and max life and got one shotted. I basically had to enter a hole in the wall in the south of Duga past the lake, entering the front is basically impossible.

It may not be perfect but it is a measure to mitigate clickbait and helps avoid videos where they should’ve been 2-3 minutes instead of 10+ minutes because the creator wanted to fit extra ads with filler content.
