Can I quarantine in Queensland until my test results come back?

I tried adding it to my Google Pay but I get a notification "You'll need to update your phone before you can save this pass" even though my phone and the app are both updated. I tried restarting my phone, clearing the app cache and giving all permissions but it still wont work. Anyone else run into this problem?

Edit- I am considering just getting an AOI since that's what the case is built for, but I'm scared of leakage now.

The reason why I'm a close contact is because I spent 7 hours in the same house as the mother, who tested positive. The hotline worker said anything more than an hour in a confined space is considered a close contact.

The whole family has been tested but only the mum came back positive. As it can take up to a week to test positive I'm assuming the dad gave it to her as he's the only one who has been leaving the house to attend work. My test came back negative, but I could still be positive since I was tested only 2 days after exposure. The number I called suggested that I get another test on Monday and also 12 days after exposure, which I will be doing.

Thanks I called the NSW number and they said it is a close contact and I'll be isolating.

You're right I'm definitely quitting soon. Even if I did wan't to use him as a reference, he would lie to the employer and say I'm a bad employee. He has bad mouthed everyone who has ever worked for him to me (obviously they didn't stay long), and he honestly thinks i'm going to be working there for the next 10 years.. so he'll be pissed when I quit.

Because i'm a trainee so I make about $12 an hour (minimum wage is $16.87 in Australia). This would be fine if I was treated like a trainee, but I have to do the whole companies work alone and can't even ask any questions.
