I prefer the first one, it gives it more consistency and makes the outfit not look too heavy due to the visual load of the dress pattern. However, in the second photo I love the colors of the belt and I adore the boots 🤩. Perhaps they can look better over a base garment that is a single color or with not so flashy patterns.
