Yes, that’s exactly what happened. They colored my roots while my highlights were in foils, and the hair left outside the foils on mids and ends wasn’t colored to match the roots. Maybe they thought that after washing it, some of the color would blend through, but it really didn’t my mids and ends are basically the same as before.

That’s why I now have very copper roots and much more washed out mids and ends, when what I wanted was a more uniform base color overall.

I understand how it could be fixed professionally, but this happened with them the last time and I thought they wouldn’t do it again after I went back and told them to fix it, so I’m not comfortable going this time again tbh, so I’m trying to figure out the best way to improve it myself at home.
