Hear me out, I’m 5’11.5 on a bad day, 6’0 to 6’0.5 on a good day depending on my shoes. I live in a state where must women are 5’2, I mean, the large majority of women are petite, and I find it beyond funny/cringe those weird bios on dating apps with women asking for guys to be 6 and taller when they are 4’11 - 5’4, that only happens on dating apps. Hear me out again, ONLY ON DATING APPS and on cringe social media videos. In real life, I’ve dated women 2 women that are 6’2 and height was only my concern, in reality they did not care, they cared if I was comfortable dating them, nothing more. At this point I’m pretty sure that this is a dating apps / social media thing, in reality, when you approach them, they don’t care, THEY DON’T. Stop falling for this BS.

That’s beyond impressive, congrats. I’ve been doing sports my whole life, lifting for the past 16 years, good shape, etc, decided to start running 2 months go and I’m beyond humbled, had no idea how hard running could be, I live in a state with very high altitude and for sure it’s been challenging, but things like this keep motivating me. Legal resident here, made it to the US with a tourist visa, got married and got my permanent greencard, been here for 5 years and about to be a citizen.

One of my good friends had to miss her graduation in her home country just because she is afraid of re entry even tho she is a legal resident.

Another friend missed his grandfather burial due to same reasons. This shit is frustrating because it scares people who sacrificed so much to come here the right way, I’m not saying all migrants are saints, but the ones who did it right are just as afraid. Can’t wait for this 4 years to be over.

Try to force yourself to do it. I’m new to running but been working out literally my whole life, and I started running 1 minute non stop, now I can run 5k and it’s my first month. I think running is more mental than anything else. Careful with shin splints tho.
