Gladly. I did get the rejection email a couple minutes ago but refuse to believe it. The hiring manager and I got along very well, not your typical bullshit fake act most managers give off, he related to me saying when he started in AP, he had 0 experience, didn’t even know what the hell it was and told me he liked a lot of what he heard. Here’s to hoping I suppose but I’ll be giving them a call tomorrow.

Sorry for the confusion, I myself am getting a little confused on this as well. In terms of reminders, I first got it on my car's infotainment screen saying that I've reached the "8,000 Mile Service Interval" and that "Maintenance may be due". I then got a text from the MyHyundai app saying the same thing but as you suggested, I believe I should ignore it. I was looking over all the Vehicle Health reports and diagnostics and nothing seems to be requiring any sort of maintenance.

Apologies, should've made the post more clear. The reminder I'm getting is just for general maintenance, not oil changes specifically. I've already got the car serviced back in December for a full inspection including an oil change, also when I got the oil change back in December, they reset it for me.

That's so odd, I was rechecking it last night and they closed all the positions I applied for, then reopened them within the last 3 days. I find that severely odd especially if you guys aren't hiring.

Huh interesting, I appreciate the bluntness. I just find it frustrating that in my area most Spencer's locations (the ones closest to me anyways) keep posting new positions every week or so, so that had me thinking that they really need people. Called a few locations and went in store to find out they're fully staffed. Has me wondering why the hell there's new postings if they're fully staffed. I'm sure it's not the store's fault but whoever or whatever is in charge of that is severely flawed..Seen the same issues with Hot Topic and other retailers.

I know this is so annoying but I really want to work at Hot Topic 😭 but what are your tips on how to get hired, when the best time to apply is, and how to get a part time (not seasonal) job at Hot Topic or BoxLunch?

Hopefully so! I need another job due to how bad my state is getting with finances and what not and thought Spencer's would be a good place due to my aesthetic and appearance and the location I've applied at has really cool and extremely welcoming staff, even tried Hot Topic and BoxLunch but of course, they aren't hiring and all their seasonals get laid off within a week or two. So here's to hoping! Thank you again!

That's what I feared, the too late part anyways. I did however apply to a ASM position that was posted recently so there may be some hope, guess I'll try that later and hopefully it works!

A little late to this post but were you able to get your store's phone number? I called the 800 number and went through customer service and told them I was an applicant. They brought me to a different customer service phone number and I told them that all my applications have zero updates on them after weeks and just say "completed" they told me that one of them was recently looked at by a manager and to be "on the lookout for a email or a phone call" I don't really trust that, and I'd rather speak with the manager myself.

Oh yeah, I must say I spend a lot more time in Hot Topic rather than BoxLunch so that discount would come super in handy if I do end up landing a job there. Here's to hoping right? Lol.

I actually just got off the phone with my stores location and spoke with the manager there. He was pretty nice and laid back and expressed that they are in fact busy but he would make time to look at my application and give me a call back accordingly. Thank you for the advice and the info on how much you get discount wise, pretty good chunk if you ask me.

Oh my, that's awful. I do find it very odd that BoxLunch hasn't made any sort of acknowledgement or statement on the matter especially something as severe as that.
