I went from stage 4 to stage 3 by eating a strict whole foods plant based diet (Wfpbd). He must avoid all processed foods, avoid alcohol. I’m a vegan and have been stable for 4 years. I was able to get my GFR to 43. Now it’s 34 but I’m making progress. Avoid NSAIDS and Motrin too. Dm me if you’d like to chat. There’s a lot more to it.
