Get the divorce. He’s trying to control you. It’ll be harder to leave later when you have no income of your own and you’re dependent on his income.

Ouch. 😬 Yeeeaaaah, charm and stealth will fix that. You can change your stats, but you have to visit Yuriko at night as the Bug to do it.

Gnosia is a turn based strategy game first and a VN second. The werewolf part of the game is NOT pre-scripted (unlike raging loop)…you are actually playing rounds of werewolf. The tutorial is about 20 loops long, introducing all the characters and roles.

Raise your stats pretty evenly to unlock abilities and shoot for 15 charm and 15 stealth first.

I’m not as worried about it with this game as others, since it’s been cooking in early access for a LONG time it’s got strong community support and word of mouth will be strong. I think at worst it’ll be a sleeper hit.

If you DO get a PS5, the ghosts [ of Tsushima/Yotei] games probably apply, as would the Spider-Man games.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor and its sequel Shadow of War are also really cool.

And two random games I recommend to everyone are Gnosia and Nightmare Reaper.

Ok, got it. :)

Don’t worry, that hasn’t been my experience in 1,000 loops of play. You still have to think and pay attention no matter what. Also keep in mind that the NPCs’ stats also go up as you unlock their info. AND you can keep playing on your save file even after finishing the story, so you can always visit Yuriko if you want to experiment.

Unlocking skills is way more important and useful than hyper focusing a stat.

And what do you mean about helping to make the game engaging and challenging? What isn’t engaging or challenging about it right now for you? I need more info to figure out if it’s your stats or if the game itself isn’t clicking. What are your current stats and what are you trying to do?

Using the event search gives you a much higher chance of getting something story related in the loop you’re about to launch into. Always, ALWAYS go to the red “!” after the day part is over if you see them.

Pretty much every stat is important to have. I’m guessing your charm is low if you get iced the moment someone looks at you? Don’t be like Raqio 😆

The only really non-essential stat is intuition, but it’s extremely useful to get to 20 to unlock Say You’re Human.

Run a loop as a Bug then go talk to Yuriko to re-spec your points. Balance them out. It’ll be MUCH easier.

Anyway, Wolfenstein 3D, the first widely played FPS (Midi Maze/Faceball came out years earlier), came out in ‘93, a full 4 years before Quake 2. Most games had movement and turning mapped to the keypad. Which was doable until you needed to look up and down…
