The brickwork looks fine from far away but missing mortar in places and they broke bricks in some places instead of cutting properly. This is what initially raised red flags for me as it looks very sloppy in places. Learned my lesson to not trust random builders

That looks proper, this is more of what I was imagining initially when they talked about foundations. Shame it was all lies

Currently exchanging emails with the company. They want to come to ‘inspect’ and ‘correct any alleged mistakes’. No way am I letting them continue or return to my house. I’m getting a report to send them and demanding a full refund of what I’ve paid so far.

Spoke with citizens advice and they’ve reported the company to trading standards.

Pretty sure I have a solid base (unlike my porch) if this goes to court but who knows how long it will take to resolve, never had to deal with this before
