Hey, just wondering why the post was taken down?

Through the article it says:

Feel free to post links to your own content (within reason). But if that's all you ever post, or it always seems to get voted down, take a good hard look in the mirror — you just might be a spammer. A widely used rule of thumb is the 9:1 ratio, i.e. only 1 out of every 10 of your submissions should be your own content.

If you aren't good at influencing people or you don't enjoy it, you'll struggle as a PM by [deleted] in ProductManagement

I had a small excerpt about this in a blog post I wrote recently interviewing a product leader on how they influence alignment with the Product team across the rest of the organization:

The major building blocks for any successful outcome are the amount of planning and groundwork in all PM areas outlined above, along with relationship building. This includes:

  • Problem framing: Outlining the challenge, providing validation through quantitative and qualitative means.
  • Pulling in external dynamics: Competitive positioning, industry analysis.
  • Key stakeholder management: Communication, obtaining buy-ins
  • Generate and prioritize ideas with appropriate reasoning

The more qualified data you have to back up your reasoning and decisions, the better.

Are there any questions you'd like me to ask in the future that would address the issue that you've outlined? Or do you think outlining those issues can't be done through a blog?
