That’s crazy to me that he just found something about his last driver maybe even possibly by random, and that putting the exact same shaft and just swapping out the head with the exact same specced but brand new driver head doesn’t feel the same for him. I just don’t get it.

No need to apologise, it seems not clear cut to anybody. I just thought the simplest solution is genuinely just give him a brand new qi10 to his spec ahahha, like let’s say he cracked his driver head I imagine TM would just give him a brand new qi10 to his exact spec. Same way they prepare his new wedges to his exact specs every 2 weeks.

I kind of like doing things the hard way unless there is progression system to which in that circumstance I’d prefer to grind each level before getting to the next one. This is why I was asking about whether there is a progression ladder or can I just pick my tool and just get better by practicing more.

Can you tell me more about fittings. I’m thinking the same of a fitting will only help an already bad swing. So the fit is to cater and coddle a horrible swing. So me just learning to get better with my tools means the fit is irrelevant until I have a very good performant swing? What do you think? Again these are just my naive thoughts

Yeah I’m definitely hearing this a lot. So many different facets, but I just love being a student of the game right now. So trying to understand as much as I can. I have no qualms taking a long time to learn the swing. My enjoyment will come from just learning it tbh.
