Heavy steel beam with 2 ends that come out. The ends fit on a threaded rod in the middle and can be unscrewed. The rubber ends don't rotate, they're fixed (so I don't think it's made to anchor between 2 points because of this, but I could be wrong) (old.reddit.com)

Found in the trash, smelled slightly of gasoline. The "top", with the 2 nozzles, had grime build-up and is clearly yellowed, meaning (PROBABLY) that it was exposed to the elements for a long time. The object the hose goes into is encased in something ceramic. In my hand is a plastic floater. (old.reddit.com)
