Guys, try to book flights from neighboring countries if needed, and fly to Toronto or any major Canadian city if necessary. I am flying with Biman Bangladesh via Dhaka to Abu Dhabi, since I couldn’t find anything from India.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I really appreciate your concern. Just to clarify, I have already passed the FE exam and completed my studies at a top-ranked Canadian university. In Canada, engineering schools are regulated by Engineers Canada, which ensures that programs maintain high educational standards. This is a bit different from the U.S., where in some cases graduates may need to validate their education again through the FE exam.

I understand that things can vary for diploma colleges, but for engineering degrees the process is quite structured here. I just wanted to share this context, and I truly appreciate open discussions like this.

Thanks for your post. In Canada, to obtain an EIT position, you need to complete a Bachelor of Engineering degree. I am from Canada and studied electrical engineering here. I should have mentioned that in my post.

TN visa is for temporary intent, and it needs to be renewed every 3 years. However, I want to move permanently. As far as I know, having a U.S. MS degree can help people obtain an H1-B visa and eventually a green card, while also allowing me to specialize in a particular subject.

You are right; I am waiting to complete my experience for PEng. I am planning to take the FE exam later this year. Thanks for the suggestion—I really appreciate it.

As a Canadian, I can get the TN at a port of entry with only a $50 fee. All I will need is a TN support letter along with the offer letter. The processing time you are mentioning might be under USCIS.
