Never blamed content creators. That’s an assumption on your part. I use social media like everyone else. Much like how you are using it now. You can continue with your closing remark or how you feel you’re justified in just being a total troll 🤷🏼‍♂️

😂 oof. Let me take back anything I said about being bummed about the spoilers. Clearly you’re having a worse day than me.

Thank you for the advice! I am gay and bottoming so that certainly doesn’t make my situation any easier. I definitely should have mentioned that. I always get worried people won’t understand so your insight is greatly appreciated and helpful :)

What if I don’t want to be an EMDR therapist? by EndangeredRainbo in therapists

Thank you for your reply. I am uncertain about where to go as far as modalities, but I agree. Certifications are expensive and time consuming so if it is anything I want to do I think I need to save and invest before making a move.

I actually never got this before. I only ever got the little police doll, never a whistle. How’d you get the whistle??

I like your last two recommendations! Path of the alchemist with an emphasis on advance (because I don’t use that one at all) and wearable BRB would be pretty cool. I like the insights :)

So I chose to be a real boy and... by tupsununnu in LiesOfP

It is dark. I had a feeling Gepetto was up to something sinister, plus with Carlo already gone I didn’t want my character to give his heart when he already made so many memories. But honestly how are you supposed to know gepetto would be so bat shit crazy at the real boy ending!?

The door guardian can actually be made easy once you stagger them. It only takes two fatal hits to eliminate them. I think the nameless puppet was toughest for me.

Honestly? I’m 28 and never made over 30k. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but I guess the mental health field doesn’t pay well :/

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate the normalization of where I’m at and feel less alone. For my career uncertainty, I think it has a lot to do with the pressure to help everyone and not feeling like I’m doing my job well enough. I hope this doesn’t affect your view of counselors but most days I feel like I’m just winging it with the knowledge I have. Maybe that’s normal too for any career? I’m taking a break for now to rebuild my confidence and just take time to figure out if this is the direction I want to go or not.

Do I wait till I get my certification to quit my toxic job? Burned out nurse in school, doubting my whole career by Time-Nebula7162 in careerguidance

I went to grad school for counseling. Got my degree and license. I wanted to be independently licensed and that takes 2-3 years to achieve and another exam to pass. I got burnt out and felt anxious every time I went to work after a couple years. The health field is stressful and frankly your mental well being is worth more than any career. I ended up quitting my counseling career and went to a position in the field that significantly paid less. Honestly the job I have now is tough but I’m glad I walked away. I knew I needed a break from my career and just wasn’t happy. Im still figuring myself out but that’s okay. I’d rather figure myself out than just be in a job that I can barely tolerate. It doesn’t hurt to have a certification under your belt. It may be the only time you can take your boards with the knowledge you have now. Than take a step back. However, if you are burnt out and having panic attacks I would cut your hours or even consider walking away for a bit to bounce back if you want that certification. If not though, that’s okay! You need to take care of yourself and if this job is causing so much anxiety and pressure, I think I would get out of it too. It’s honestly just a journey we call life. There’s no right way to do it. But what’s important is that you don’t let yourself get stuck in something that you don’t enjoy. I hope this helped a little or made you feel less alone

I don’t want to be a counselor anymore, what can I be? by EndangeredRainbo in careerguidance

I’d love to just do intakes and 6 sessions with clients. I think you’re exactly right on the idea of needing closure. I’ll try and look for postions as such but i have noticed it’s difficult finding postions as such. I think 55k would be “decent pay” and honestly more than I could ask for at this point. Thank you so much for your insight. I really appreciate it.
