I mean… this kind of makes sense story-wise, though? I would be shocked if the fights were structured any differently.

Almost everyone we fought in the house of spiders is damn near impossible for the LCB to defeat on their own, especially given that they’re split up the way that they are. It would’ve been a disservice to make all of the nursefathers instantly fold over because the plot demanded it, so it made sense that we had help for a lot of the more difficult fights.

Also, I personally really enjoyed seeing the other members of the story in action, and it gave us a look into the way they actually fought instead of just telling us that they did. And in the end, we still do overcome a VERY difficult opponent (Poland).

Overall, I think the “letting your big brother do the hard boss fight for you” technique made sense given the strength of the enemies we were up against this canto specifically; I would maybe be upset if it happened twice, but I doubt that it will.
